- The 3-Act Architecture: Your Story Map We’ll demystify structure. Learn how to map out the Major Beats of a feature film or a TV pilot.
- Character vs. Plot: Driving the Action Why “stuff happening” isn’t the same as a story. We explore how a character’s needs and flaws create the plot, making your script feel organic and real.
- Theme: What is your Story About? Learn how to identify the “heart” of your script and how to use theme to make your story more cohesive.
- Professional Formatting: The Industry Standard Learn the “Rules of the Page.” We’ll cover how to use software like Final Draft, Celtx, or Fade In.
- The First Ten Pages: Grabbing the Reader The most important part of your script. We’ll focus on how to introduce your world, set the tone, and launch your story in the first ten pages.
